TalkTalk slashes Huawei smartphone prices, contracts from £1.25 a month
TalkTalk has announced a six-month 75 per cent price cut on selected Huawei Android smartphones taken with a two-year contract. This includes a deal on the Huawei Ascend Y210, which is available free and from £1.25 a month for the first six months.
That includes 100 minutes of calls to any network, 250 texts and 100MB of data. The price rises to £5 a month for the remaining 18 months of the contract, but still represents great value.
Other handsets discounted for the period include the Huawei Ascend G330 and Ascend G510. Both are available on the Small Plan from £2.50 a month for the first six months, £10 a month thereafter. While the Medium Plan will cost £3.75 a month for the first six. Both come with 300 minutes and 3,000 texts, but differ in data allowance – 500MB and 1.5GB respectively.

The Huawei Ascend G510 features a 4.5-inch screen with a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, while the G330 has a 4-inch screen and comes with BBC iPlayer and EA Games preloaded.
“It’s amazing that TalkTalk customers can now enjoy all the benefits of a smartphone, like being able to check emails and look up maps on the go, for less than it costs to catch a bus in most parts of Britain,” said Dan Meader, mobile director at TalkTalk.
The offer runs until 5 August.
