HTC First is the first Facebook phone
HTC First Facebook Phone for AT&T
The Facebook Phone is real, and it’s name is the HTC First. Moments after it announced Facebook Home, a new Android home screen and lock screen that better integrates Android with Facebook, HTC and AT&T announced they will be the first to release a phone pre-loaded with the software.
HTC First is heading to AT&T April 12, the same day that Facebook Home launches on a handful of previously-released devices. The phone will cost $99 when purchase on a two-year agreement and will support AT&T’s 4G LTE. The device comes in four colors: orange, white, black, and a light blue. The design of the phone is simple and meant to showcase the “engagement” possible with Facebook Home.
As if it to intentionally wink at online comment trolls everywhere, HTC named its new Facebook-tinged smartphone First. The phone will run Android 4.1 Jelly Bean software with Home integrated. The phone has a 4.3-inch display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 dual-core processor.
